Veteran's Discharges

Veteran’s discharges must be filed by September 30th in order to be eligible for exemption consideration on taxes due the following July.  An original or certified copy of a DD214 form must be presented which will then be returned to you and a copy will be kept on file. 

Certified copies can be obtained from a town in which it was previously filed or by requesting a copy from the National Archives at this link.
