Eat Local --- Grow Your Own -- Wednesday, April 25 6:30 PM

Spring is here (or just around the corner).  Thoughts go to herbs, just picked vegetables, and the first bite of a sun kissed tomato.   The Tolland Garden Paths, will give an overview of what it takes to have a bountiful organic garden of your own at the Tolland Public Library Program Room on Wednesday, April 25 at 6:30 PM.  The  workshop will include planning, preparation of the site, and planting. "The Three P’s".   They will share their tips, and hopefully hear yours.  Both newbies, and seasoned gardeners are welcome.  Everyone will kick off the growing season by planting lettuce to take home.  Please register by calling the library at 860 871-3620 or sign up online at tolland.org/library and look for Online Library Events Calendar.
