At-Home COVID-19 Self-test Kits and N-95 Masks for Disabled Tolland Residents

For Immediate Release:

(January 27, 2022) Tolland Emergency Management has a small allotment of COVID-19 Test Kits and N-95 Masks for distribution to persons with disabilities who were unable to attend any of the distribution events. We are currently working with Human Services to address the special needs population.

If you were unable to attend our distribution events due to your disability and are in need of N-95 masks or a COVID-19 test kit, please call the Human Services Department at 860-871-3648. If leaving a message, please include your name, address, telephone number and if you need masks or a test kit. The Human Services Department is open Monday through Wednesday, 8:00AM to 4:30PM and Thursday 8:00AM to 7:30PM.  The office is closed on Fridays.

Guidelines:

  1. Open to Tolland Residents only
  2. The test kits have a finite shelf life and are not intended for residents who want to have one on hand in case they need a test kit later
  3. Residents are urged to carefully read and follow the test kit’s directions
  4. To allow for others who have not yet had the opportunity to receive a test kit, if you previously obtained a kit, we would appreciate it if you do not request another one.
